Chemo Day #6 + 2

10/03/2012:

10:15: I am awaken by a phone call from a client who is having mouse issues.  The mouse is clicking everything or not clicking just right.  I ask the client to try changing the batteries on the mouse since it is a cordless mouse and to make sure that their cell phone is no where near the mouse.  They tell me that their cell phone is not near the mouse, but they cannot remember when they last changed the batteries.  I tell them that is why I only use wired mouses because I have had to many battery issues that end up wasting too much time.

10:25: I get up out of bed, and let Buster out and feed him.

10:35: I jump into the shower.

10:45: I jump out the shower.

11:00: I am in my van heading to my Dr. Biundo’s Office.  He was originally seeing me for rheumatoid arthritis with my markers in my original test with Dr. Yager thinking it was an auto immune disease or something else that I may have had, but it could have all been side affects of the Lymphoma.

11:15: I get to the hospital and parking in the parking lot on the Northeast side of the hospital which is used more for the Doctors and Nurses to park in than patients.  This makes it very easy to find a parking spot.

11:25: I sign in at the window and pay my co-pay.

11:35: I am lead to the back, weighed, go over the basics with the nurse, and then wait in the patient room for the doctor.

11:50: The doctor comes in and we go over everything.  He reviews my whole history with him, and says that while he has never seen any cases of my symptoms leading to cancer, that it the cancer could explain why my inflammation was up along with a few other things, but no diseases or other reasons could be pointed at.  He knows my oncologist Dr. Veith, and said that he even taught Dr. Veith.  He says that he may take it up with Dr. Veith and record all this in a journal for others to read and follow up on because this has not been seen before, but maybe more research and follow up could help diagnose this quicker in the future possibly.

12:20: I leave the Doctor’s office and walk back to the car.

12:30: I swing by McDonalds for two McDoubles, and then stopped by the Bank on the way home.

12:50: I get home and feed Buster, that is the reason I was heading back home in the first place, I gotta take care of Buster 🙂 He is doing better, and has to eat more often through the day rather than all at once.

1:00:  I was thinking about going back to the office, now I wasn’t feeling it to go back to the office so I just rested at home.

2:00: I get a call from an IT company out of San Antonio who has a client who is going to sublease an office in a Doctor’s office and wants to know if I would be able to hook up a router, network switch, computer, and printer for him so he wouldn’t have to come all the way to New Orleans from San Antonio just to hook up a computer.  I tell him I can take care of that no big deal.  He explains to me that he is going to have his own internet connection from Cox, so we don’t have to worry about sharing networks or the internet connection so they would be separate and secure.  He tells me that he will get back with me early next week and hopefully have everything to me by early next week to install.

3:00: I do some admin work budgeting the business money for what I got coming in, and what I have been making with only working for the most part every other week.  I get a pretty good idea of what I will need to do on Friday when the checks clear and I have to do Quarterly Employment Taxes along with State and Local Sales Taxes on Friday, along with paying rent and utilities.

4:00: I figure everything out and doze off for a little.

4:45: I wake up and go eat the food that my mom brought home from Guillory’s.  I got a crawfish burger, which was more batter than anything else, and I will not get it again, and a philly cheese steak which was actually pretty good.

5:30: I am back in my room watching Everyone loves Raymond.

6:00: I am just taking it easy, a little tired, just watching TV, feeling ok, a little nauseated, but I have had that nausea feeling all day.

8:00: I just take the rest of the evening easy and relax, on my computer while watching TV while laying in bed.

11:59: I doze off after another long day, I drift into a deep sleep.
