Chemo Day #6 + 3

10/4/2012:

10:30: I wake up, and I wake my wife up.  I have to get to my office to meet a client to give them a toner that they want to pick up.  My wife also has work for 11:00:

10:35: I let Buster out, and I go jump into the shower.

10:45: I jump out of the shower and let Buster in.

10:50: I take off to my office.  I will swing back later and feed Buster.

11:00: I get to my office and give the client the toner.

11:30: I head on over to another client who also needs some toner, I drop him off 2 toner’s and hard wire his desktop computer because the wireless on his desktop is giving him issues.

12:15: I leave my client’s office and head back home.

12:30: I get home and I let Buster out of his cage and feed him, and then I let him outside.

12:50: I put Buster back into his cage, and head on out to another client’s office.

1:10: I get to my other client’s office and drop off 5 toners for their printer.  I notice that they need some toner for another printer they have in the office, and will bring some them in when I get some in.

1:30: I head back to my office.

1:40: I stop by McDonald’s for two McDouble’s on my way back to my office.  For some reason McDoubles go down easy and I have never felt any kind of nausea or sickness from eating the McDoubles while going through all the Chemo.

1:50: I get back to the office and eat my McDoubles.

2:30: I go back to work working on a desktop for a client.  I work on it on and off, it has some major issues as the registry is messed up and none of the shortcuts could be opened by the computer and after a repair install the shortcuts still arn’t corrected.  The next thing will be to backup everything on the computer, reformat it, and then put everything back on, which I will contact the client about tomorrow if I can’t get it working by today’s end.

4:00: I attempt to clean up the office a little and get rid of some trash since I have been doing a lot of work lately and doing more work and less clean up around the office.  Oh well its more about bringing in the money than having a clean office for now.

5:00: I start working on a Data Recovery project that a client of mine gave me.  I go through two older desktop hard drives and both of them have no data, I then open a laptop to find out the hard drive has a proprietary interface for sony and will not be too able to really get any data off of their without more expenses, and then finally I go through one last laptop hard drive which I do find some data that the client was looking for.  I backup this data and email it to the client, and I will continue looking for more this weekend.

6:30: I go across the hall and work on their voicemail system.  They need to be able to record conversations with clients to certify the lifeline subsidized phone service to make sure that their clientele are qualified to be on such programs.  The business must keep these recordings on file for audit and certification purposes.  I go clear out all the voicemails, and then I add additional time to all the voicemailboxes to take in account the recording time.  I then make test phone calls with my cell phone recording myself and making sure that the system automatically transfers these calls to a shared folder on the server so that they can be renamed and filed.

9:00: I complete the phone changes, and then I go back across the hall.  I take a look at that computer and I decide I will just have to rebuild it tomorrow.

9:15: I head on out and head home.  I eat some left over shrimp and a baked potato my mom had from Don’s Seafood along with some Jambalaya left over from the other night that is still in the fridge.

10:00: Food was great, I go lay in bed.  I get on my computer, check a few things, but doze off.  I have to meet a client tomorrow morning at 10 AM, so I can’t stay up too late, although my sleep patterns are way off.

11:30: I manage to finally doze off.
